Supporting the Arts: Birmingham Summer Concert Series
Serling & Abramson, P.C. believes in the importance of fostering a thriving arts scene. As part of our commitment to Birmingham’s cultural vibrancy, we have proudly sponsored the Birmingham Summer Concert Series in Shain Park. This seasonal event provides free concerts for the community each Wednesday from June to August. Not only does it provide residents with exciting musical experiences, but the concert series also advances a sense of community.
Giving Back: Jimmy’s Kids
Jimmy’s Kids is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides year-round assistance to children and families in need. Additionally, they collect and distribute gifts as part of an annual Christmas Day Program. Serling & Abramson, P.C. has been a proud donor to Jimmy’s Kids to further their mission of fostering their own work, as well as their partnerships with the Optimist Club, First Congregational Church, OLSA, Kensington Church and many other important organizations serving less fortunate families. Along with charitable contributions, many of the Serling & Abramson, P.C. staff have volunteered on Christmas day to distribute gifts.
Spreading Holiday Cheer: Operation Good Cheer
Operation Good Cheer is a volunteer Christmas gift-giving program sponsored and coordinated by Child and Family Services of Michigan, Inc. The program was created in 1971 by individuals who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children who reside in foster care. Serling & Abramson, P.C. has participated in Operation Good Cheer for many years by loading up a truck full of gifts during the holiday season to be distributed to infants, children, and teenagers in foster care.
